This function means that the pulling out of the actuator depends on the authorization, that is, the application of voltage to the coil. This state does not activate the security system, it only allows the activator to be pulled out. Only the activator causes a reaction. Key-operated switchs are most often used in areas that need to be physically locked to prevent trespassers from entering a dangerous sector.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tTypes of key-operated safety switches\t<\/h2>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tWithout locking of actuating key\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Classic in a metal case <\/strong>&#8211; for use on machines with low inertia and operating in normal conditions (no vibration or shock and guard mounted vertically, without risk of rebound on closing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Classic in plastic case &#8211; <\/strong>for use on light machines with lowinertia and operating in normal conditions. For use in arduous conditions where the guard could open unintentionally, a guard retaining device is available as an accessory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tWith interlocking of actuating key\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li><strong>With manual unlocking<\/strong> &#8211; in a metal case for use on heavy machines with low inertia, operating in harsh environments where the guard could accidentally open. Key-operated or push-button lock.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>With interlocking by solenoid<\/strong> &#8211; in a metal or plastic case for use in high inertia machines with controlled opening of the protective guard. Locking of the moving guard can either be on de-energization or energization of the solenoid. The switches incorporate 2 LEDs to indicate the status of the guard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tWith emergency unlocking with mushroom button\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The mushroom button is mounted on the back of the safety switch. It is used to unlock the machine guard from inside the protected area. This type of manual unlocking is useful during maintenance of a machine or set of machines or when stationary with the guard closed. This increases the safety of maintenance personnel.
